Summaries don’t have to always be boring sentences! We are going to play with words and create biography poem for our reformers. Don’t worry there are no rules about syllable count or rhyming!

From previous sections, we know that Christianity is the main faith in Europe throughout the 15th century and beyond. However, what happens when people start to question or criticize the church’s practices?

Log in to Google Classroom. Once there, you’ll find an assignment that is a slide presentation that looks like the one below. On each slide, you’ll find a problem within the church and blank box that asks you what you would do to solve the problem.

We finished looking at the artwork of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael.

Today we are going to take our “art reading” skills a bit further and focus deeply on one particular painting, The School of Athens. This painting is said to be the ultimate example of Renaissance art, so we are going to try and figure out why!
