EQ: How do I study for a final exam?

Essential Skills:

Summarize and establish context for vocabulary terms.

I can: Review the main concepts we studied during the fall semester.

Agenda: Test Review

On the day of the final, you will be taking a district common assessment (basically it’s a test given by the district) that covers everything we did in World History this semester. I don’t know what questions will be asked, but we can work on reminding ourselves of some of the big topics we learned about this semester.

Hopefully, by now you’ve got some ideas on how to answer this question! 

This project is all about describing the concept of history and taking into account all the topics we studied this school year.

You’ll be doing a little research using your notes and assignments, forming some opinions, and hypothesizing how history impacts not only the past, but also the present. 

Log in to Google Classroom to complete the project using the provided slide presentation or create one on your own. Follow the directions on each slide to complete the project.

You may add slides as needed, decorate all you want, and add pictures! This is your final exam, so make it awesome!

Finals are upon us!! Here’s how it’s going to work:

Finals are worth 20% of your semester grade. There are two sections to your final exam score.

Section 1: Project

Section 2: District Test (multiple choice)

The project will help boost your quarter grade as well as your semester grade. If you’re looking for a pathway to pass, this is your best chance to get points! The district test will count towards your final exam grade, along with the project.

We’ve studied a wide range of topics this semester! As we close out this semester, we are going to create a project that not only reviews some of the people and events we covered, but also invites you to consider how past events have shaped our world.

This project will largely be completed during class time and if you follow the daily checklist, you’ll get done with your project with time to spare!
