What We Did Today

Hello! 👋

^^^ I didn’t know owls could be this cute, but here we are!

EQ: What is history?

Essential Skills: Identify significant events and people and analyze their impact of past events on today’s world.

I can: Define history in my own words.

Agenda: Wrapping it up!

Today we are going to finish up your final project and turn it in!

Let’s review the concept:

We’ve studied a wide range of topics this school year! As we close out this semester, we are going to create a project that not only reviews some of the people and events we covered, but also invites you to consider how past events have shaped our world.

This project will largely be completed during class time and if you follow the daily checklist, you’ll get done with your project with time to spare!

Spring Final Exam Project

We began the school year by asking the question, “What is history?”

Hopefully, by now you’ve got some ideas on how to answer this question!

This project is all about describing the concept of history and taking into account all the topics we studied this school year.

You’ll be doing a little research, forming some opinions, and hypothesizing how history impacts not only the past, but also the present.

Log in to Google Classroom to complete the project using the provided slide presentation or create one on your own. Follow the directions on each slide to complete the project.

You may add slides as needed, decorate all you want, and add pictures! This is your final exam, so make it awesome!

Today’s Checklist:
